We are constantly in search of Christian men and women of all ages to assist us in our overseas campaigns. There are two essential qualifications we are looking for; first we need people who are truly born again and maintaining a daily walk with God and second, we need people who have a burden for seeing the unsaved come to Christ through the ministry of frontline evangelism. If you are looking for a an opportunity to use the gifts and talents God has given you as part of the process of bringing people to Jesus Christ, then SWEA/GFE may very likely be the place for you. WHERE DO WE GO?

Most of our campaigns (we also call them projects) take place in East and Central Africa and India.

Normally about two weeks (14 to 18 days), including travel. It is possible, however, to go for a shorter period of time if necessary.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The overall cost of participating in one of our projects depends on many things, which change from trip to trip, such as airfare, location of the project, type of lodging, ground transportation requirements, and so on. That being said, it is not likely that the cost would exceed $3000 for a two-week trip and it could be lower depending upon the above mentioned variables. We do all we can to make the cost as low as possible. SWEA/GFE does not charge an override or administrative fees. All you pay is exactly what it costs for you to go.

That depends on the country and the location in that country, but you can be sure that we will stay in the most comfortable and most secure place possible without elevating the expense beyond reason.

WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD?

Good ample nutritious food is available everywhere we go. We suggest you bring snacks to suit your personal preference. We have never had anyone starve to death during a project, but we have had a few lose weight. Most are happy about that.

WHAT WILL I DO?

The primary focus of each project is frontline “we go to them” field evangelism. But we also conduct a lot of discipleship ministry as well. Therefore there is room in each campaign for a wide variety of abilities and ministry functions. We need people who can preach evangelistically, teach, sing, play instruments, perform on a drama team, conduct pastor`s conferences, lead soul-winning seminars, work with children and so on. If you meet the two basic qualifications mentioned above, then there is a place for you on an SWEA/GFE campaign. One thing you can be sure of is that you will NOT be sitting around doing nothing.

We normally start fairly early and go late. We try to do 4 to 6 evangelistic meetings per day, including open-airs, schools, and an evening film show. Daily activities may also include various types of discipleship training.

WILL I RECEIVE PRIOR ORIENTATION AND TRAINING?

Yes you will have both prior to the trip, either by means of video or in person or both. We will do everything possible to make sure you are prepared to be used to the maximum for the Kingdom of God before we ever leave the country.
